Governor's Service Recognition Award Recipient Pat Knuth

We are excited and proud to announce that Pat Knuth, a longtime volunteer, has been awarded the Governor’s Service Recognition Award as a Senior Corps Participant! This award goes to a Senior Corps volunteer who, over the course of the year, has made significant contributions to Wisconsin through efforts using their invaluable skills and experience. Since her start in 2001 as a volunteer with Eras, Pat has been involved in many aspects of service to help Waukesha County seniors and adults with disabilities lead meaningful lives. Her volunteer duties at Eras have included data entry, special events support, serving as a Pen Pal with local students, as an Agency Ambassador, and a member of the Finance Committee. Among the many services Pat provides our organization, one of the greatest impacts she has on the community is her work with our STOP Senior Frauds and Scams program. This program brings awareness to common frauds and scams targeting the senior population. To date, Pat has given 19 of the 43 presentations Eras has conducted! All of us at Eras are extremely grateful for the tremendous support Pat provides our organization, mission, and community.
